The 2012 Visual Diary – Developing Colour
Today I started to experiment in the colour darkroom with my photograms. After a few hits and misses things started to work out which is super exciting. Here is my last image which is an appropriating of images/drawings from kids books. I really love the colours in this.. So much fun!

I now have a set of ideas for the next phase so just hanging out till next Monday so I can get stuck in again.
I am also going to experiment with some other fun photogram ideas but I will reveal those details when/if it works!

Magic Monday
Today was one of those great days. Lots done, I learnt something annnd I rewarded myself with a little relax.
It really was a magic Monday!
First up I got to learn how to develop colour films. I am so excited about the process and getting back to making images from scratch, the process is so rewarding. I am really excited about the whole colour darkroom thing.
And just by talking to one of the fourth year students in the space of developing time, I came up with a new idea for some photos. I love that. I love art school for that. Banter creating ideas. Love.
I also managed to FINALLY get some prints developed that I have been meaning to get done.
Heres the end result.. Pretty happy with them and they just need to be homed in some box frames and pinned down.

Now this is just the start to my 2012 Creative Collection.
I am very excited to be working pretty hard on ideas for a whole pile of awesome STUFF to be ready to sell before the end of the year.
WATCH THIS SPACE!
I ended up the afternoon with heading down to The Cloud to smell the sea, sit in the sun and The Cloud was bursting with sweet tunes.
What a great way to finish up such a productive morning.
I had a smile on my dial and was loving that very moment in my life.
Awesome.
